As a property of the Teschen Chamber and later the Austrian Mining and Metallurgical Association, it was modernised and rebuilt over time. The greatest renovation dates from 1908-1915 when the central engine house, two poppet-heads, and one of the mining buildings were built. After the explosion of gas in the mine in 1924, the original generous concept was restored and architecturally completed by joining the mining buildings. When the mining was discontinued, the structures were removed with the exception of the engine house and poppet-heads with mining buildings that were included in heritage care. In connection with the planned new purpose, the building history and architectural research was conducted. The study presents the architectural and technological development of the mine in a historical context based on the selected most significant archival and iconographic sources and in the context of geological conditions, mining methods, and the development of technology. The archaeological research conducted at a designated area verified the information from the archival research and the positions of the crucial surface machinery that ceased to exist in different stages.
