Shortly after, the interior was equipped with paintings, stuccos, and furniture in the High Baroque Gesamtkunstwerk style. The Fraternity of Saint Isidore (1713-1783) maintained the building; later the local parish took care of it. After 1945, the structure deteriorated; over time, the roof leaked which resulted in the damage to the interior decoration. From 2012 to 2015, the experts and students of the Faculty of Restoration from the University of Pardubice carried out restoration and related works on mural paintings and stucco decorations. At first, they conducted the initial restoration, natural scientific, and humanity research of stucco decorations and murals. The subsequent restoration works added to the acquired knowledge. The research findings provided information about the creators of the original decoration and secondary treatments as well as the phenomena and causes of damage that had to be described before the restoration conception was designed. The aforementioned damage, caused by leaking, was the crucial issue of the restoration process.
