This so-called opuka stone is composed of prevailing fine-grained silica with common, but variable admixture of carbonates and clay minerals, making intrabasinal component, supplemented with minor extrabasinal clastic component with fine- to medium-grained silt granulometry. Based on the results from analytical and observational methods, the stone is equal to the so-called "zlata opuka" which has been quarried in the very vicinity of medieval Prague (Strahov - Bila Hora area).
