AB The article deals with the recently uncovered fragment of medieval murals in the Early Gothic presbytery (today sacristy) of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Borovsko (Benešov District). The relatively good-quality painting features three kneeling knights on the eastern part of the southern wall. The well-preserved escutcheon with the armorial figure of a rampant wolf facilitates the association of the depicted knights with the Volfemberk family possessing Borovsko during 1364-1395 as evidenced by surviving records.
