Prachner's academic training and foreign experience were later reflected in his sculpture decoration of the New Mint in the Old Town of Prague. Not only do the archival sources help to restore the operation of the sculpture workshop of Petr's father Richard Jiří Prachner (1705-1782) in greater detail, but they also correct our perspective on Prague sculpture art of the second half of the 18th century.
