The Classicist Rosice Castle and Engineer Jan Tebich
- Fakulta architektury VUT Brno

The exterior of Rosice Castle (the Brno-venkov district) reveals the traces of renovation carried out before 1850. The plans, designed by the builder Jan Tebich, only document this renovation as well as earlier construction stages and are not - unlike the earlier published statements - a project that would suggest a specific solution. The text raises a hypothesis why Tebich documented the existing condition: the domain owner Simon Georg von Sina probably intended to modernise the building that, however, did not materialise (Simon Georg died in 1876 and his daughter Helena showed no interest in Rosice). The text refers to analogies and attempts to precise the relative dating of the classicist reconstruction.
