History and Architecture of the Baroque Inn in Lukov in the Low Ohře Region
- Národní památkový ústav, územní odborné pracoviště středních Čech v Praze
The article primarily seeks to present the results of building history research of the Baroque inn in Lukov Village (Central Bohemian Region, Kladno District). Archival research is also part of the presentation. Built of stone, the inn originated in the mid-1680s and later was significantly reconstructed. Nevertheless, its current appearance to a large extent corresponds with the original structure. Concerning the comparative viewpoint, it is important that reconstructions did not significantly change the interior layout from the Baroque period. Many original structures (e.g. ceilings, wainscoting) and architectural elements (e.g. wooden portals) have survived in the interior.
