The study, resulting from the project NAKI DG18P02OVV066 Hortus Montium Mediorum, focused on the provenance of sandstone used for the manufacture of constructional elements of the Church of the Most Holy Trinity at Zahořany and Zahořany Chateau in the Litoměřice District. Their comparison with sandstone from possible source localities employed optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, electron microscopy and microanalysis, helium pycnometry, and mercury porosimetry.
